🧠 THE BIG IDEA

Your fans aren't unsubscribing because they hate your emails.

They're leaving because you're forcing them to choose between "all in" or "completely out." There's no middle ground. No pause button. No way to say "I love this brand but I need two weeks off."

So they click unsubscribe. And they're gone forever.

We added an "Email Snooze" feature to multiple client accounts over the last 6 weeks.

Two simple footer links: "Snooze for 7 days | Snooze for 14 days."

Unsubscribes started dropping almost immediately. In the last 30 days alone, hundreds of subscribers across several clients chose to pause instead of leaving permanently.

HOW IT WORKS
💤 The Email Snooze Feature

It lives in your email footer around one idea: “Would you like to take a break from our emails?“

Two clickable options: 7 days or 14 days (Choose the duration appropriate for your DTC brand)

One click, they're paused. A Klaviyo flow waits for the chosen time period triggered by a custom segment, then automatically brings them back once the time they selected is up.

A simple system for a small break, instead of a permanent opt-out.

NOTE: If they need more time, they can snooze again. Two clicks on the 14-day option gets them 28 days total. The control stays with them.

THE PLAYBOOK
📚 How to Build This For Your Brand

We built a complete implementation guide with screenshots, Klaviyo setup instructions, segment logic, flow diagrams, and footer copy you can swipe.

It covers:

  • Exact footer link setup

  • Klaviyo segment and suppression logic

  • The full reactivation flow with conditional splits

  • Why 7 and 14 days work better than 30/60/90

  • How timer resets work if someone snoozes multiple times

Install this on Monday. Give your fans the option they've been looking for.

Until the next one,
